I know some people do this because maybe they think that they can unconsiously hear and take in what they are saying to them. I would be able to if this person meant something to me but if they weren't very important to me it'd be like talking to a wall, and that's not fun because walls do not hold intelligent conversation, or talk.
Medical research shows that people in a coma can and do respond when loved ones are talking with them....the response isn't what we typically think of, but it is measured apparently by movements in the brain....Fortunately, I have never had to deal with this situation, but, I do believe that if the situation were to arise, I would do whatever I could to help my friend or family member in any way possible.
I would talk to someone i cared about if they were in a coma. I would hope that by hearing me they would want to come back. It would also help me becuase by talking to them I would think that they are still with me and not in a coma.
Yes, if a loved one was in a hospital with a coma i would be there giving them company so they don't feel lonely and if they were to wake up you would be there to give them comfort and tell them what might have happened and how they got their coma.
I think it depends how close the person was to me and who it was. If it was anyone in my imidiate family I think I would be comforting to me to talk to them. There are stories of people who could hear while they were in acoma.. they just couldn't talk back. If the person was close enough, I would even go to the cemetry to talk to them if they passed away.
I think you would be able to.. I mean, it doesn't matter if they really respond to me but I'm glad I could be there and talk to them. It would be hard to be in that situation. I hope I never have to go through it.
I think it would depend on the situation. If it was someone that I was close to that was in a coma I think I would be able to talk to them. I say this because they are still able to hear me, and they are able to talk to us just in a different form. But now if it was someone that I really didn't know I dont think I would have that connection. I wouldn't know what to say to them. I just hope that I never have to go throught this situation.
I would be able to talk to someone who is in a coma even tho if they wouldn respond back its just to show them that their important to you and that you are there for them. it would just be hard to go through it
Yes, I would be able to talk to someone when they are in a coma because they could still hear my voice. Even though the person cannot physically move or talk, their ears still work and they can still process what I would be saying to them. I believe that if one talks to a person in a coma they could come out of it more quickly. I do think that I could talk to someone if the were in a coma, especially if the person was a loved one.
